In my opinion, this collection is one of the most stunning classic watches that Orient has to offer. It has a very clean and simple design but looks sophisticated. What I love most about this watch is the 3-tone design on the surface of the dial (face). The textures of the inner dial, as well as the outer dial, complement well with the texture of the sub-dials.

The dial has many attributes that make this watch into a successful timepiece. Features such as the date indicator (located at the 6 o’clock position,) the day sub-dial (located near the 2 o’clock position,) and the 24-hour sub-dial makes you value such a work of art.

If you want to adjust the date, you must first loosen the crown (time-setting knob) located at the 4 o’clock position. You will notice that there are 2 levels to the crown. The first level adjusts the date indicator, while the second level adjusts the time and the date of week. The hour and minute hands are both luminescent so you may view the time in the dark. When adjusting the time, you will see that the 24-hour sub-dial corresponds with the movement of the hour hand.

The crown comes with the engraved Orient logo and shoulders for protection. This automatic watch runs on the power stored within the spring of the watch. As the owner wears the watch, the spring naturally stores power. This watch is also water-resistant for up to 50 meters.

Bands and clasps are important aspects to a watch as they can provide a nice feel and should compliment the rest of the watch’s vibrant design. For this watch, the band is engineered to focus on comfort. The metal band comes with both matte and finished links. This provides a two-toned shine to the rest of the watch.

Verizon Wireless has since released a firmware update that improves some of the issues but not completely. The Storm is a faster, better device after the upgrade, including the responsiveness of the accelerometer, and improved battery life. However, the phone still has various bugs and just doesn't feel quite like final product. There may be subsequent updates that resolve all the problems, but we would have preferred RIM and Verizon waited a while longer to make sure the BlackBerry Storm was stable and solid before releasing the device, even if it meant missing the holiday rush.

The good: The RIM BlackBerry Storm features an innovative touch screen that provides tactile feedback to confirm your selection. The Storm offers dual-mode functionality for world-roaming capabilities as well as EV-DO Rev. A and UMTS/HSDPA support. Other highlights include GPS and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

The bad: The Storm's SurePress touch-screen takes some acclimation and the onscreen keyboard is a bit cramped. The smartphone can be sluggish and buggy even after the firmware update.. Speakerphone quality was a bit choppy

The bottom line: The RIM BlackBerry Storm may blow in a frenzy for Verizon Wireless subscribers wanting a touch screen similar to the Apple iPhone. However, there are bugs and performance issues that prevent the Storm from delivering its full potential.

Windows Vista 64bit flies even while testing on VMware with no RAM left to host pretty much, even runs Windows 7 x64 although lacking the extra bluetooth profiles included in Vista.

This has to be the coolest thing we have seen done with the Nintendo Wii so far, Wii Spray.

Wii Spray is the work of Martin Lihs, as his Master Thesis at the Bauhaus University in Weimar Germany, it uses a combination of a Wiimote, a spray can, and some custom software and a projector screen to create an awesome digital graffiti program that lets you create digital graffiti on the screen.

I understand people's concern's with the glossy screens found on plasma and some LCD's. This screen is slightly less reflective than Samsung's 71 series but can still be a problem for some. It would be nice if there was an easy solution for this but there's not. Sony and other makers use a matte type of screen that certainly helps or eliminates the problem but introduces other negatives. I find colors and blacks just don't "pop" on matte screens and tend to wash out more for off-angle viewing. The 650 has a picture with great depth and color from any angle, greatly adding to the immersion effect.

Face Detection Technology Canon's powerful Face Detection Technology delivers even better results with the new A590 IS. The Face Detection Technology continues to recognize faces in a scene, and concentrate exposure (daylight or flash) and focus upon them. But the A590 IS adds more: Face Detection WB means the camera concentrates upon faces when calculating white balance for the best possible skin tones. Face Select and Track lets the A590 IS user highlight one face among several in a scene, and the camera concentrates on that person, even as they move around the scene. Face Detection Technology is a powerful contributing factor in Canon's new Motion Detection Technology.

Red-eye Correction Red-eye Correction provides three options for removing red-eye from subjects in flash pictures.

* The new Red-eye Correction during shooting actually identifies and corrects red-eye in human subjects as pictures are taken.
* The A590 IS can be set to automatically detect and correct red-eye during image playback.
* The user can manually locate any red eyes in a scene during image playback on the LCD screen, and command the camera to remove them.

High ISO The PowerShot A590 IS features ISO 1600 and High ISO Auto settings that reduce the effects of camera shake and sharpen subjects in low-light situations, giving you greater shooting flexibility.
